A brick wall with an old white-framed window, its panes boarded up and weathered, partially obscured by climbing ivy. Dense ivy covers the wall to the right, spilling over the window frame and creeping across the bricks.

Old Warden Tunnel

A dark, arched brick tunnel with walls covered in colorful graffiti tags in pink, blue, and white. The floor is littered with debris, rubble, and a rusted metal sheet with graffiti, and the passage fades into darkness with a faint point of light visible far in the distance.

Find out more about Old Warden Tunnel nature reserve here: https://www.wildlifebcn.org/nature-reserves/old-warden-tunnel

Remember the tunnel is not open to the public. You can see images taken by urban explorers here though: https://www.28dayslater.co.uk/threads/old-warden-tunnel-beds-may-2010.50274/

The dark interior of a graffiti-covered brick tunnel, with a shaft of bright light streaming in through the arched opening at the far end. A wooden barrier with a small square gap partially blocks the exit, and litter and debris cover the tunnel floor.

The Conders

An abandoned two-storey house with fire-damaged walls and a collapsed roof, seen across a field of tall, dry grass and framed by overhanging tree branches. Trees and outbuildings surround the derelict property under an overcast sky.

During the first half of the 1890s Frederick Conder owned West Sunderland Farm which was sold after his death in 1895.

Roberto Conder lived and worked at Brook House pictured below from 1895 until his death 12 years later.
