Thelma Roberts update

A newspaper photograph of a woman with short curly dark hair wearing a beautiful long 1950s dress with a flared skirt and thin belt around her waist. Her shoes are black with low heels and she is standing next to a display board with images of flying saucers on it.

Above is the photograph of Thelma Roberts next to an exhibition display of flying saucer images.

Below are newspaper clippings about Thelma and another photograph.

I’d very much like to thank Thelma’s cousin for sharing these with us. Thelma really was a pioneer in UFO research back in the 1950s.

Two newspaper clippings. The first with a headline that says Flying Saucers Do They Exist shows a photo of a woman wearing a white blouse and clack and white striped skirt holding out a model of a UFO to a man in a dinner jacket and bow tie. The other clipping headline says Flying Saucers Thelma Seeks Proof for Her Theory.

The Potton Poisoner update

Here’s some information about Quinsy the condition that listener Judi speculated might have been the cause of Simeon Mead’s death. And it does match his symptoms. With no antibiotics, this kind of abscess could be fatal.
